Hicks Genealogy

War of 1812 Pay Rolls & Muster Rolls

for the Hicks Surname

This information can be found online by searching through the Library of VA's (aka VA State Library) various databases. This particular database gives the number of the microfilm roll on which to find the particular Hicks person. I assume that the microfilm is held at the library - for those of you who live in Virginia. The rest of us seem to be out of luck.

I don't know yet whether any of these folks are mine, but Dibdell Hix is interesting in that he shows up in Kanawha County, WV Property Tax records.
